Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

With Alexander now back in the picture, and the opportunity to win the war, George Washington (and the ensemble) warns Alexander to watch what he does because everyone is watching him. This is a huge opportunity to cement a legacy as someone who helped end the Revolutionary War.
Although this song is short with the most common words being part of the main idea of the song, it is hauntingly beautiful as it is a moment of calm before the storm. Part of what makes this musical amazing to listen to, is the balance between short and long and softer more belt-like slow jam related songs compared to the hard rap style. Balance is key and this song takes advantage of a soulful warning with the ensemble using the word "who" while "Washington" warns that "History has its eyes" on the hard-headed Alexander. If the pattern of songs is correct, the next song is about to blow everyone away.
