This song starts off with a young farmer (a featured ensemble actor) by the name of Samuel Seabury who preaches about how the end is near if the country decides to break times from England. Even though Mulligan and Burr comment about the ridiculousness under their breath, Hamilton shows up Seabury by questioning his logic.

Naturally the most common names would be "Seabury" and "Hamilton" because it is a battle of wits between the two that Hamilton starts to win until they are interrupted. As for the words "King", "Revolution" and "Congress", these are all important topics to the society and what Hamilton attacks while the two characters sing over each other in an attempt to be the better. Although it is a short song, it shows how fast Hamilton is willing to stand up for himself and acts as a bit of a serious but comedic relief to the audience. The reality is it also acts as a grand introduction to King George III.
