The Decade of "Sabriti" rice

For this type of soil "Sabriti" is the best rice for personal consumption and it also has good market as many Tharus and others like the rice as it tastes better and also the rice doesn't break while cooking. Therefore, I only harvest Sabriti for the family consumption. The yield is also good - if we use reasonable amount of chemical fertilizer we should get about 7,881 pounds/acre. This rice can be harvest in 90 days which is one of the earliest among many rice varieties that are popular for consumption. Many older varieties of rice took about 120 days to harvest.
