Bershka and its connection to Angry Birds

As the game itself attracted an unpredicted and unprecedented popularity, the opportunities for manufacturing its game characters into other commodities rose up. The t-shirt that I had seen at Bershka had also been a result of this. Bershka's Angry Birds character shirts were manufactured with the full permission given from and copyrights maintained by the Rovio Entertainment, meaning that Bershka would pay for the rights to transform the characters of the game into commodities. The reason for this investment is implied in the brand's The Company web page. Bershka sets their aim to be a brand that "responds to the demands of a sector of young people who are interested in and highly aware of new trends", which means that it changes the models of their clothing line as frequently as possible to reflect the new and growing trends, in this case the fever for the game Angry Birds. It is also intriguing to see that the Angry Birds print shirts are categorized under the BSK line of Bershka. It is stated on Bershka's website that the BSK line is "brand for younger people, and always caters to the interest and needs of this public by bringing its collection on their taste in music, their idols, rock stars and so on."
