As can be seen in the photo, braceros typically wore thick durable jeans and shirts along with wide hats for protection from the sun. It can also be seen that the worker is "stooped" or leaning over which was a required practice in the line of work executed by the braceros. These aspects contributed to the difficulty of the labor and in conjunction with the mistreatment and conditions imposed formed an increasingly difficult position.
