The Bracero program is widely understood as an unjust program that does not wished to be repeated and is usually reiterated as a program that consisted of bad working conditions and its barbaric treatment towards the workers. However, Emilio reveals that unconventionally good treatment he received from his boss in which his boss helped his family reside in the United States.
