Teardrops by KEILA AURELIO
I am a solemn sky
lackluster and tainted
shrouded
by featherlike clouds.
sometimes,
my clouds
become too heavy
too saturated
by the weight
of my sentiments
the burden aches
to carry,
the brim is full.
raindrops
glistening,
tip-toeing on fluffy edges
they want to dance
so I pour.
I pour
a frolicking torment,
a whirling cascade.
an anguished storm
prancing,
flooding relentlessly.
once again,
I’m weightless.
