and things undiscovered.
unknown depths

crave to be known.

but
it is not in the nature of the ocean
to remain calm forever.
quiet waters learn how to roar
overbearing and engulfing,
they can’t be tamed.
Love might also be
the sand on the shore,
powerless
to the fate
of change.

as its imprints are carried away by the wind
and shooed off by the water.
scattered grains find themselves
