I have a passion for creative storytelling and raising awareness about social justice issues, which is why I aspire to work in documentary filmmaking. This past school year I've worked as a Senior Reporter for The Tab Maryland, an online college news publication, and worked on a student made documentary about sexual assault on college campuses. I also founded The 40% Project, a social media campaign and fundraiser aiming to spread awareness about the issue of LGBT homeless youth in DC through short films.
