Egon Erwin Kisch

The writer and journalist, Egon Kisch (1885-1948) was a habitué of cafés in interwar Vienna and Weimar Berlin. A Jewish immigrant and opponent of Nazism, he was arrested and expelled from Berlin in 1933 after which he travelled to Spain, France, Mexico, and the United States.
