David Vogel






Born in Podolia in the Russian Pale of Settlement in 1891, David Vogel was a modernist Hebrew author and poet who was active in Vienna, Palestein, Berlin, Poland, and Paris. He is best known for his Hebrew novel, Ḥaye nisuim (Married Life, 1929). He was murdered in Auschwitz in 1944.
