My name is Candice Lau and I am currently a first year transfer student at UCLA. I am from Manhattan Beach, California and I attended El Camino College prior to coming to UCLA. My major is Asian American Studies and I enjoy learning about the history and experiences of Asian Americans. I am American Chinese (third and second generation) and I love learning about my family's history.
One of my favorite things to do is travel. My favorite places are New York, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, and London. I love learning about different cultures and seeing new things. One of my favorite things about traveling (especially to places like Australia and Japan) is seeing and learning about animals in other countries.
