Kvittem Fruit Soup (Prune Soup) Recipe
9 oz pitted prunes
1 cup apricots - cut in ½ and 1/3
6 cups cold water
Soak prunes and apricots in the water for 1 hour
Add -
1 cup golden raisins
½ cup dried cranberries
Simmer 20 minutes
Add -
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup tapioca
1 cinnamon stick
2 cups water
Simmer 20 minutes
Can be served warm, or chilled with cream.
