Kinzua Era Timelines

During the Kinzua Era our Seneca people fought for our land and sovereignty. Our elders protested Kinzua Dam through publications, legal action, and symbolic protests. This page provides a temporal view of a few of these historical events. We have chosen to represent this through a timeline and a chronological account of the Kinzua Era (1956-1966) as depicted through articles in The New York Times.
