"The emulator of obscure research software is spreading across the internet, origin unknown. Following a trail of files littering the RELICS virtual desktop; you trespass into the ruins of a fragmented world, suspended within a frozen data stream. But when the stream begins to thaw, no system can handle this overflow" (1).

The prototype, Memory of a Broken Dimension, has a start and end, the average first-time playthrough tends to be 30 to 60 minutes. According to Ezra (the game's developer), the following is not very representative of where the project is currently. The experience can be described as arresting and disorienting -- the more you focus in on the game's imagery, visual representations of faces, ghosts, floating eyes, and visions in the periphery may be seen. "Ezra describes it as a cursed artifact, a sort of urban legend emulation passed around on a fictional internet" (2).
