The Carr Family
Joey creates an imaginary family called The Carr Family. Although, Joey still feels enclosed as in the Papoose but the difference is that the car can move. Bettelheim explains that Joey uses this metaphor to describe what he wants. That someday he wants to live with safe and protected family, just like the car.
