Thanks for your patience during our recent outage at scalar.usc.edu. While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

While the events that led up to this fight are fairly complex, the important take-away is that KSI came away holding the title for the YouTube Boxing Championship. Following his fight and a statement in support of those suffering from mental illness, KSI chose to call out "Jake Paul, Logan Paul, any of the Pauls, I don't care" along with Rio Ferdinand, the former captain of England's soccer team (26:51).
Notable moments:
1:17: Joe Weller begins his entrance to mixed boos and cheers, played in by house music of his own making.
3:31: KSI begins his entrance with a similar reaction, but paired with his own track.
The track KSI walks in to is not his diss track against Weller.
8:32: Fight begins. KSI and Weller seem to split the first round, but KSI soon takes the advantage.
17:15: It is now clear KSI is dominating the fight. The referee calls for a temporary halt in the action, soon followed by a series of standing eight counts.
19:23: The referee makes a decision that Weller is no longer able to fight; KSI wins by Technical Knock Out (TKO.)
25:20: KSI speaks to Weller during his interview, claiming that the fight should "showcase that anyone suffering from mental illness [is] not alone."
26:51: KSI calls out the Pauls (as detailed above.)
From the way
28:18: Weller claims that he has taken "something bigger away from this whole experience," citing his personal growth through the process of training.
