Telegrams and messages regarding the USSR intervention in Czechoslovakia during the Czech crisis. Several telegrams concern the U.S. embassy in Czechoslovakia, written as internal messages of the United States government, either by the State Department or by members of President Johnson’s staff. W.W. Rostow makes note of the increasing threat of the USSR as the occupation grows. One commentary of a speech made by Dubcek marked his very disheartened tone at the USSR's intervention in Czechoslovkia. Also included is a chronology of all action taken by the United States during the "Czech crisis."
