Studying Abroad by Helen Gao

When individuals think about studying abroad, they often view it as a 'transformational' and 'life-changing' experience. But what about the study abroad experience makes it so impactful? By exploring the motivations behind the decision to leave home, we can understand why so many find it to be a profound journey. Those who choose to study abroad step into the unknown, facing challenges that encourage personal growth. As they navigate new environments, cultures, and perspectives, they discover insights and practices that they carry back home. These newfound experiences often integrate into their daily lives, influencing their choices and shaping their worldviews long after they return. Though the program may end, the effects of studying abroad continue to resonate in their lives.
