Cinematography

Laura has studied the photographic arts in live action, animation, and still photography. Having shot most of her own experimental films, documentaries, and animations, she has a broad range of experience and is comfortable shooting and lighting. She no longer physically sets up lights, and only operates smaller cameras, but still leads teams for both lighting and cinematography. 

Her lighting experience includes working as a grip on a feature film, as well as serving as the gaffer on an MFA Animation Thesis film, a USC 508 production, as well as as a camera and lighting intern for nine months for the animated feature "Hell and Back," produced by Shadow Machine.
