Characterized by collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches, the digital humanities bring together scholars, students, librarians, technologists, and new media artists to answer big questions with big data, use new media platforms to increase public engagement with the humanities, and develop ethical technologies and critical standards to create, describe, preserve, and provide access to digital heritage.
