She holds bachelor degrees in Biology and Secondary Education from Clemson University. After graduating with her undergraduate degree, she joined the Peace Corps and taught science for two years in Mozambique. She then came back to the States and taught high school biology for two years before coming to BGSU. Morgan has research interests in formal schooling during times of colonization in the US and abroad.
