Our project is inspired by the essay we read in chapter five of Readings for Diversity and Social Justice called "The Five Faces of Oppression" by Iris Marion Young. Our goal in creating this game is to help educate children, ages six to eight, about oppression and bullying. In doing so, our hope is if children were taught about oppression at a younger age they will be more apt to develop empathy and help stop bullying of all kinds.
