Incorporation of Different Domains

This program promotes the use and integration of three main domains: reading, writing, and history. These domains work really well together and can make learning easier/more engaging because they incorporate similar cognitive strategies.

Reading: deciphering written message and constructing meaning from the linguistic clues the message provides. Reading is an important domain in art history; much learning can come from text sources. 
Strategies used and practiced in this program include:​Writing: a production task. 
Strategies used and practiced in this program include:History: possibly one of the harder domains to successfully use. Many of the cognitive strategies required to be successful in this domain call for higher thinking. Many opportunities to begin this kind of thinking were used in the program.
