The individualistic piano impetuously enters recalling the theme of the creative will in the trumpets. The passage is punctuated by contrasting blue and red lightning bolts in the autograph score. The diametrically opposed spiritual blue and material red Mystic tonalities of F# and C (a tritone apart) interpenetrate looking for an electric unity.
