Weeks 1 and 2: February 1-February 15
Overview of how the course operates; challenges and opportunities.
Complete sign ups for Scalar, Slack, hypothes.is, and Twitter. (See Communications Information for links).
During the first week and should be completed by February 6:
- Complete profiles for Scalar (your "bio" page), and Slack (include your selfie). Post something to the Slack General Channel. Join Wakelet and read/watch tutorials and user guides. Do a personal Wake for practice.
- Create "professional" Twitter account. Follow @PolicyClassNYU and each other. Post three Tweets using the class hashtag #swpp2nyu
- Practice with hypothes.is by annotating the Introduction page with questions, suggestions, your individual goals, etc..
