The Treaty of Hubertusburg is signed by Prussia, Austria and Saxony. Together with the Treaty of Paris, it marks the end of the Seven Years' War. Frederick reforms the military and government, granting religious tolerance and freedom of the press. Publication of Voltaire’s Traité sur la Tolérance denouncing religious intolerance and the execution of Jean Calas in 1761.
