Physical Media of Featured Works

We follow up the image of the box and contents of Uncle Buddy's Phantom Funhouse with one showing the packaging of all the born-digital works published on floppy disks and CD-ROM featured in the print book. While folios were commonly used for the packaging of bookware during the 1980s, as seen in the presentation of Thomas M. Disch's 1986 text adventure Amnesia, these all designed by Eastgate Systems, Inc. go beyond the purpose of holding floppy disks. Rather, they resemble a book in its shape and functionality.
