At first glance, readers unfamiliar with Michael Joyce's afternoon, a story may not notice much difference between the 1991 Edition and its unauthorized emulation since both offer the same launcher icon featuring the yoni symbol the author himself created. The emulated edition's, however, is contained in a folder named "System" along with a System Folder, while the 1991 Edition's is mounted directly on the desktop. This visual clue is important in that it signals other potential differences between the two editions.
