Legacy Mac Laptops


Legacy Macintosh hardware is required to read most of the works discussed in the book. As shown in the photograph, three Macintosh laptops used by Pisarski for the preservation of Michael Joyce's afternoon, a story and Twilight, a Symphony, are lined up together with a modern Windows machine. From the far left: Powerbook 3400 (1997) running Mac OS 9.0,Powerbook G4 with Tiger OS (2002), HP ProBook running Windows 11 (2021) and Powerbook G3 (1998) with Mac OS 9.1.
