Some lexias of Twilight, A Symphony, both in the original and in the Web editions, will not let readers proceed further before making an explicit chose of their destination. In the lexia, “Cent mille de facts,” a multilink window appears and presents a list of links. A special Javascript function handling the multilink functionality reads additional elements of the standard HTML link attribute (“href”) and adds to it additional targets, such as "data-href1", "data-href2", etc. These extra "hrefs" generate a list of alternative destinations. Another set of additions to the href attribute is also added: "data-tile1", "data-title2", etc. This second group of attributes is responsible for displaying the link name of each connection.
