How to Start a Book

Start creating a Scalar Book by signing in at https://scalar.me/anvc/ and going to “Dashboard” from the upper right-hand corner. There are two versions of dashboard, standard and upgraded. You may see screenshots of each throughout this tutorial and you'll have the option to use either for your account. 
  1. Once in your dashboard, you’ll see a row of tabs to choose from. Click on the “My account” tab and go to second section is entitled, “My Books.” You can create a new book by adding a title in the text box that says “New Book Title.”
  2. You should see a message highlighted in green after you’ve successfully created a book that says, “Book has been created (now present in the list of books above).”
     
  3.  Click on your book, and the first page reads, “This is a user page for [Your Name], but it hasn’t been created yet. Click the Edit button. Click to edit the current page or media. button above to create one.” The upper right-hand menu looks like this:
  4. When you click the edit button, you will have the option to add a title, description, and add text and/or media to your user page. Congratulations, you’ve created a Scalar Book!
