Richard Smyth's Biography

Richard Smyth is a poet, philosopher, and educator who earned his Ph.D in English from the University of Florida in 1994 and has taught about technology and literature to students of all levels. His hypertext work Genetis: A Rhizography was published by Eastgate Systems, Inc. in 1996, and since then he has continued to teach about and investigate technology as a means of self-expression. Smyth currently works as a Technology teacher in Massachusetts.
