The documents contained in our collection span a wide range of years. The timeline provides a visual representation of that timespan, which includes the exhumation, repatriation and commemoration of the soldiers who died in Archangel, Russia. This view allows you to see the clustering of documents around particularly important years. For example, you’ll notice a cluster around 1929-30, during which one of the soldier repatriation efforts occurred.
