What are the Activities?
The activities that are provided throughout each and every section are to challenge the user’s perspectives on certain elements of history. These “phenomena” are either commonly misconceptualized or don’t seem to have enough alternate perspectives that can bring new and interesting talking points about a topic. These activities are all divided into three parts. Throughout each and every topic, there will be an activity for the user to complete at their own leisure or time frame.
Part 1: Introduction
A brief description about the topic will be covered over the length of the paragraph. This will be followed by another paragraph that will break down the counterpoint for the topic and set up the user for the activity that is next.
Part 2: Activity
Each topic will have a series of activities to interact with. These activities will range from reading links, watching videos, and other interactive elements that will be presented throughout the project. This is to help set up the pathway for the user to think and respond critically. Some topics will have more activities than others, depending on the level of difficulty and the points that need to get across.
Part 3: Questions
Once the activity is completed, the user will be presented with a series of critical thinking questions for them to answer. Each topic will have a unique set of three questions to be answered. These answers will be typed out in the comments section.
