PWH 103
Welcome to Phenomenal World History 103!
Section three focuses on world history topics that are recognizable to everyone, but provide an intermediate level of challenge for discussion. While the topics themselves are easier to understand, their complexity as a historical phenomenon requires one’s critical thinking abilities to challenge their current perception on it. Like other activities, this activity presents five varying topics for you to explore and research, where the user will answer three questions and post in the comment section.
For this activity, the topics we will cover in this section are listed below:
1) Revolution - Broadening our understanding of why people fight against their rulers.
2) Industrialization - Re-analyzing the historical impact of industrialization.
3) Railroads - Questioning the historical need to connect railroads everywhere.
4) Latin America - Reimagining the concept of the Latin American region.
5) Consumerism - Understanding the historical phenomenon of consumer culture.
