This path explores the technologies used by Edward Curtis in his work documenting Native American tribes from the turn of the 20th century through his final field work in 1927. Curtis is best known for his still photography, but he actually embraced and utilized virtually every type of media available to him at the time including audio recording, motion pictures, and a range of different photographic processes.
