Grid and Radial Visualizations

These visualizations provide ways to interact with the complete contents of the project, providing a different type of comprehensive view by allowing multiple connections between pages to be studied simultaneously

Grid Visualization - Content is displayed in a linear grid format. Each box represents a piece of content and each line a connection, all color-coded by type (artist, page, media etc). The darker the box, the more connections there are to other content. Roll over the boxes to browse connections; clicking a box will provide a view of the selected connections through a dotted line. Selecting "Visit" will take you to that page or media location, or you can stay with the grid and select more boxes to view multiple sets of relationships simultaneously. To deselect a box, click it again.

Radial Visualization - Content is displayed in two concentric circles with central arcs that color-code content and connections. The inner circle displays each piece of content as a separate arc, while the outer groups content into type. Roll over or click the arc to reveal relationships between content through the connecting curves. Click an arc in the outer circle to expand and view its contents more clearly. Click an arc in the inner circle to keep its relationships visible when scrolling over other content, allowing multiple sets of relationships to be viewed at the same time. To deselect an arc, click it again. Clicking an item's title or double-clicking an arc in the inner circle will open the associated content.
