Many students resort to prepackaged, single-serve meals during the winter due to low cost, convenience and increased price of fresh produce. These meals can often by unsatisfying, low-nutrition, and bland. They also create a lot of waste.
But, by eating seasonally and simply, there are a lot of meal options for the average college student that are easy, require few cooking supplies/utensils, and are low-cost.
