  Diana

  Diana Leong is an Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature at San Diego State University. Her research interests include environmental justice, black literature and studies, and the environmental humanities. She is currently completing a monograph, Against Wind and Tide: Toward a Slave Ship Ecology, that theorizes the slave ship as a site for the convergence of environmental justice and abolitionism. Her work has also appeared in ISLE, Catalyst, Electronic Book Review, Configurations, and the Palgrave Handbook of Animals and Literature. 

  Jessica

  Jessica Pressman is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at San Diego State University, where she co-founded SDSU’s Digital Humanities Initiative (dh.sdsh.edu). She is the author of  Bookishness: Loving Books in a Digital Age (Columbia UP, 2020), Digital Modernism: Making It New inNew Media (Oxford University Press, 2014), co-author, with Mark C. Marino and Jeremy Douglass, of Reading Project: A Collaborative Analysis of William Poundstone’s Project for Tachistoscope {Bottomless Pit} (University of Iowa Press, 2015). She co-edited two volumes: Comparative Textual Media: Transforming theHumanities in the Postprint Era (University of Minnesota Press, 2013) with N. Katherine Hayles and Book Presence in a Digital Age (Bloomsbury Press, 2018) with Kiene Brillenburg Wurth and Kári Driscoll. Her full CV can be found at www.jessicapressman.com.

  Mark C. Marino is a writer and scholar of electronic literature living in Los Angeles. With Rob Wittig, he is a co-founder of Meanwhile… Netprov Studios (http://meanwhilenetprov.com). His recent work includes “Salt Immortal Sea” (http://www.lucidbard.com/elit/saltimmortalsea/) (with Joellyn Rock and John T. Murray) and Mrs. Wobbles and the Tangerine House (http://markcmarino.com/mrsw/). He was one of ten co-authors of 10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10 (http://10print.org) (MIT 2013) and was a collaborator with Jessica  Pressman and Jeremy Douglass on Reading Project: A Collaborative Analysis of William Poundstone's Project for Tachistoscope {Bottomless Pit} (Iowa Press 2015). His latest book, Critical Code Studies, was just published by MIT Press.  Mark is also the Director of Communication of the Electronic Literature Organization.
