Curtis Lecture Halls
The Curtis Lecture Halls are an example of a Brutalist low-rise. Constructed in 1971, the building is from three to four stories high and contains a number of lecture halls. The building's function is reflected by the few windows included in its design. The building takes its name from Air Vice-Marshal Wilfrid A. Curtis, York's first Chancellor (1959-68).
