The Sinai Temple Men’s Club was first established in 1951 as an opportunity for the men and women of Sinai to exchange opinions and ideas with one another, give back to the community, and create long-lasting friendships. David Matloob became a member of Sinai Temple in 1989 and thirteen years later, became the first Iranian president of the Sinai Temple’s Men’s Club. Although his position as president lasted only two short years, Mr. Matloob made valuable contributions to the Persian Jewish Community, including his help with uniting Ashkenazi and Iranian Jews. He continues his commitment to the Jewish community at Sinai through his participation as the current Vice President of Rituals.
