team exterior #3

Our mosque will utilize the newest and most efficient methods of building and energy production in order to insure the well being of the planet.  Our mosque will generate all of its own electricity needed to run the lighting, heating and cooling systems and all other components within the structure.  Our walls are going to be visually appealing, structurally sound, and efficient insulators.  These walls will be very cheap to construct and remove a significant amount of garbage from local landfills.

The walls of the mosque will be made from either recycled phone books: recycled walls made of phone books, recycled newspapers: recycled walls made form newspaper, recycled shipping crates: recycled walls made from shipping crates, and/or incorporating recycled bottles and other trash: recycled walls made from bottles and trash.  All of these styles of architecture can be covered up with a facade and painted or stylized as needed.

We will also hire local artists and community members to make art work out of recycled materials such as bags, boxes, bottles and tire parts.  This will get locals involved and create interesting works for them to look at.  One example of how this art looks is: art made from recycled materials
