Kit for making some prototype garden signs for the Urban Farm and Garden Alliance.
Prototype goal: to develop some overview possibilities along with some components that could be played with by people at the 7/12 Alliance visioning session (along with a collection of sign / tour guide examples that we've compiled)
1. We're building on what we've heard from the Urban Farm and Garden Alliance, showing a map of the whole alliance (in a format conducive to walking tours), sharing the story of the alliance, and also highlighting each garden's story / pictures.
Some story sources:
Alliance day proclamation
Video: Alliance wins Ramsey County Family Farm of the Year award 2015 at Farm Fest MN: https://www.facebook.com/gardenalliance/videos/1659762394239178/
2. We're also building on the template of the Lovejoy posters built in Fernando Burga's class.
There were some other great poster models too -- although we probably need to get down to one "page" that can be printed at poster size on outdoor material with grommets to be able to be hung at all the gardens
3. And while we're at it, we're assembling a tour of the other learning gardens we're involved with that we're working to have been Alliance ally gardens.
