LISTENING FOR LEADERSHIP

In the letter, how does Plutarch position himself and his gift to the emperor? How does the power dynamic he constructs compare to what Dio creates in Kingship Orations 1 and 3?

For each saying, identify 1-2 leadership qualities that are exemplified by that anecdote. (This could be done as an annotation exercise.)

If you put all of those qualities together, does the composite image resemble either of Dio’s versions of Alexander, or any of his versions of the ideal king? Explain how so or how not.
