hardening in this strength glories

Milton uses Enjambment frequently in his poem, usually to match up the iambic pentameter, but also to emphasize the next word on the proceeding line. In this line for instance the word glories can be emphasized clearly and drive a feeling of something that is truly glorious because of the power behind the voice.
