Paynim

Luxon, Thomas H., ed. The Milton Reading Room, http://www.dartmouth.edu/~milton, October, 2014.

Pagan. The 1674 copy text has "Panim" as in 1667, but the manuscript of PL 1 has a "y" inserted with a caret (Flannagan), so I have restored the "y." "Soldan" is Sultan.
