God's curse on Satan, and his parallel to Jesus Christ

God, knowing that Satan was behind Eve's corruption as the serpent, will curse the demon. Yet it is in this passage where Milton begins to draw a connection to Satan's punishment and the story of Christ's death and resurrection.
