Acts Annotation 1

Both Acts of the Apostles and the Gospel of Luke were addressed to Theophilus, suggesting that the author of the books is the same person, Luke. Theophilus is thought to have lived in Rome. Because of this, Acts is known to be written for a Roman audience. (Kilgallen).
