This game has been able to tie the larger community of Pueblo together and bring a sense of culture and continuity. In order to fully appreciate the gravity of this rivalry game, one must experience it in full swing. The pep rallies, the pre game festivities, and the actual game itself are very influential for the people of Pueblo. The team who wins gains a year of bragging rights, the Bell gets painted, and the people in attendance are influenced to support one team or the other. By continuing this long rivalry tradition the people of pueblo will be continuing to bind their town together through healthy competition. This healthy competition builds communities and relationships from the locker room, to entire culdesac who support Either Central or Centennial High School. By continue the longest rivalry west of the Mississippi, the town of Pueblo will continue to be enthralled and bound together in a sense of pride and community worth boasting about.
